Functional Industries, Inc. is hiring for the Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Skills Instructor role. If you have a big heart, a positive attitude, and a love for helping others achieve their best, this job is calling your name!

As a DSP - Skills Instructor, your days will be filled with:

Teaching and empowering: Help individuals with disabilities to learn essential life skills, while developing their self-help abilities, vocational skills, and social connections.

Guiding and Supporting: Be the friendly face that offers encouragement and celebrates every milestone, big or small.

Making an Impact: Create unforgettable moments while helping clients gain confidence and independence.

**Qualifications:**
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma/GED
- Background, OIG, and MVR Clearance required
- No prior experience necessary; all training provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Possession of a current Driver's License, car insurance, and a clean driving record (Preferred)
- CPR/First Aid Certificate (Preferred) - will train


**Salary:**
$18 per hour
